DTCP letter of Approval

Please find below the complaint filed in the Public Grievances portal and the Approval restoration letter issued by DTCP.

DTCP APPROVAL RESTORED ! UNITED WE WIN !!

Yes.  With the united efforts of all the plot owners of Metro IT City, Karunguzhipallam and with the persistent efforts of people like Mrs.Radha Parasuraman, Mr.N.V.Rajagopalan and others, we have finally got the DTCP approval to our layout restored.

We take this opportunity to applaud each one of the plot owner who have co-operated on this issue and joined in the meeting to form the Association of Plot Owners of Metro IT City.

We also like to put on record our sincere thanks to the Society, especially to the President of the Society and the Secretary, Shri Jayakumar,  for getting the approval restored, as promised by them. We believe and sincerely hope that they would help us in developing the layout, in future too, in whatever manner possible from their side.

Now, with all your co-operation, we can take it to the next level and strive to make this layout a nice place to live.

Follow up action by local body on receipt of technical approval for layout proposals

                On receipt of the layout proposals approved by the Member Secretary, 

                Composite Local Planning Authority/Regional Deputy Director of Town and

                Country Planning/Director of  Town and Country Planning -

• The Executive Authority of the local body will direct the applicant to hand over the open spaces and roads after duly forming them and also to provide all  the infrastructural facilities like roads, water supply, drainage and street lights and hand them over to the concerned local bodies after executing necessary gift deed.

• In case the applicant desires that the work be executed by the local body he shall remit 100% of the cost as per the estimates in advance.

• Local bodies will develop standard estimates in advance which can be quickly prepared with the actual data. The promoters will be asked to execute the work as per the estimates prepared.

• After the above process is completed and the gift deed is submitted, a subject will be placed before the Council of the concerned local body for granting approval of the layout along with the planning permission wherever necessary.

• The layout will be considered to have been approved only after it is finally approved by the council of the local body.

• Final approval for layouts will be accorded by the local body only after the applicant provides all the infrastructural facilities like roads, water supply, drainage and street lights and hands them over to the concerned local bodies by prescribed deed duly registered after either duly forming the roads/streets himself : OR after paying the cost of road/street formation to the local body.

• On approval of the layout by the council, the local body will intimate the concerned Sub-Registrar that the documents be registered.

• The local bodies will take over the street and public purpose reservations in approved layouts and will maintain the same properly.

Layout Approval withdrawn by DTCP

As per our information, the layout approval was cancelled by DTCP in 2010/2011.  An interim stay was obtained in April, 2013.

We are in the process of gathering more information and keep you updated.

Wish you a Happy New Year 2015

Welcome to all our readers and Plot owners of Metro IT City Layout to this blog. 

Wish you all a very Happy and Successful New Year 2015.

 

Yes. We need this wish, because, DTCP has cancelled the approval for this layout and we need to put pressure on the Society to get the approval restored this year.

 

It is reliably learnt that DTCP has withdrawn the approval for the reasons that land for the roads and common amenities in the layout were not gifted and the development charges for the layout were not paid to the local body.  However, we come to know that the land had actually been given to the local body in gift deed but the development charges were not paid. Though some steps were taken for the restoration of the approval, it has not happened now for the last 4-5 years!

 

People who have access to more news and documents, please share with us in the following mail id: metro.itcity@gmail.com.  We are trying to get more details; once we collect them, we will surely post it in this site for the benefit of all the plot owners.

 

We are also in the process of trying to unite all the plot owners of Metro IT City Layout, Karunguzhipallam, OMR and form an Association to work for the development of the layout.  Therefore, through this blog, we request all the plot owners to kindly send the following details to the above mail id.  Once, we get about 50 such plot owners, we will meet and form an Association.
